Cam Newton leaves game with ankle injury

Panthers quarterback Cam Newton left Sunday's matchup against the Detroit Lions with an ankle injury. He was replaced by Taylor Heinicke. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Newton was struggling to put any weight on his ankle after getting pulled down from behind after he had thrown the ball. He stayed down for a few minutes after the hit but was able to limp off the field. Keep an eye on updates on his status throughout the rest of the game.
