Marvin Jones to be placed on IR

The Lions are placing Marvin Jones (knee) on IR, according to Dave Birkett. (Dave Birkett on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
This is a pretty big surprise, considering there was an earlier report that there was optimism that Jones would return in Week 13 against the Rams. In what is now a lost season, there was little reason for the Lions to push Jones, so they'll go the conservative route and rest him. Bruce Ellington should continue to see work, while Kenny Golladay and Theo Riddick should dominate the targets for the Lions going forward.
