DeSean Jackson could miss remainder of 2018 season

According to Tampa Bay Sports Radio, Buccaneers wide receiver DeSean Jackson could miss the remainder of the 2018 NFL season with a thumb injury. On WDAE's afternoon show, ESPN's Jenna Laine said that "I think it's quite possible we don't see [Jackson] the rest of the season." Laine indicated that Jackson's frustration over his current role combined with the thumb injury could mark the end of Jackon's time with the Bucs. (WDAE Tampa Bay)

Fantasy Impact:

Jackson was spotted wearing a cast and has been extremely unhappy with his lack of targets, especially after Jameis Winston re-claimed the starting quarterback role. With Adam Humphries thriving in the slot and Chris Godwin doing a nice job opposite of Mike Evans, there's no need for the Bucs to rush Jackson back. Even if he returns, Jackson isn't a safe bet to play more than half of the snaps each week, making him little more than a boom-or-bust WR4 that is droppable in redraft leagues.
