Cam Newton still not throwing

Cam Newton wasn't throwing at practice on Thursday, at least the portion that was open to the media, according to ESPN. (ESPN)
Fantasy Impact:
Newton has been dealing with a shoulder injury for some time, and he indicated that he could require another operation due to the ailment after the end of the season. It would seem that the team is just resting the veteran's arm and giving his as much time as possible to recover. It certainly isn't good news for owners, but there hasn't been an indication to this point that he's seriously at risk of missing the team's Week 14 contest against the Browns. While it's not an easy matchup against Cleveland, Newton would still be a QB1 if he's starting given the high floor his legs have provided.
