Keke Coutee not expected to play in Week 14

by Anthony Cervino | Sun, Dec 9th 5:48am EST

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport is reporting Texans WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) is not expected to play in Week 14. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

While Rapoport is suggesting that there is a slight chance Coutee could play if he was impressive enough during his pregame workout, he also states that the plan was for the rookie wideout to sit out this week anyway. With the postseason on the horizon and the Texans rolling, it would be smart to hold out Coutee to give him some extra time to heal. Although an underwhelming Demaryius Thomas will continue to be the prime beneficiary of Coutee's absence, it doesn't mean he is a recommended fantasy play. Thomas' volatility makes him too difficult to trust in the fantasy playoffs.
