Shaq Thompson placed on IR

The Panthers announced Thursday that they have placed linebacker Shaq Thompson (shoulder) on injured reserve, ending his season. The move allowed the team to promote rooke quarterback Kyle Allen to the active roster. (Carolina Panthers )
Fantasy Impact:
Thompson played through a shoulder injury in Monday night’s loss to the Saints. His season ends with 79 tackles, 3.5 sacks, one forced fumble, and one pass defensed in 14 games (11 starts). He will be entering the final year of his rookie contract in 2019.
