George Kittle sets NFL record with 1,377 receiving yards

George Kittle finished the season in the NFL record books by accumulating 1,377 receiving yards, the most in a single-season by a tight end. He broke the record with his ninth catch of the day going for a 43-yard catch-and-run touchdown and finishing the game with 149 yards.

Fantasy Impact:

The second-year tight end is making his case to be the top player at his position heading into 2019. He finished the season with more yards after the catch than any other player in the entire NFL and will be playing in his first career Pro Bowl. This was done with three different QBs (Garoppolo, Beathard, and Mullens) and at just 25 years old, he should be a dominate force for the forseeable future. Assuming the team improves around him next season, that should only help his stock. Don't expect any discounts come draft day in 2019.
