Deontay Burnett leads Jets in receiving in final game of 2018

by Mark Leipold | Tue, Jan 1st 9:36pm EST

Deontay Burnett caught all five of his targets for 73 yards in the Jets' Week 17 loss to the Patriots.

Fantasy Impact:

Burnett has surfaced a few times this year, only due to injuries forcing him to play meaningful snaps. He was a decent receiver at USC in his college days, where he conveniently played with Jets QB Sam Darnold. Unless the Jets jettison other WRs and don't bring in any talent, it's still unlikely that Burnett earns a starter role in 2019. However, Andre Roberts, Quincy Enunwa, and Jermaine Kearse are all pending free agents, so you never know.
