Alex Smith's leg injury is "going to take some time"

Redskins GM Bruce Allen says Alex Smith (leg) is on the road to recovery but that it's "going to take some time". (Sirius XM NFL radio on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Smith was recently seen wearing a massive leg brace. He suffered compound and spiral fractures in his leg and then dealt with infection during surgery, which led to more surgeries. It's highly unlikely the 34-year-old is ready for Week 1 of 2019. His football career could be in jeopardy as well.
