Alex Smith expected to miss all of 2019

Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports the Redskins are operating as if Alex Smith (leg) will miss the entire 2019 season. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Rapoport adds Washington will be pleasantly surprised if Smith is able to contribute next year. The 34-year-old suffered a gruesome leg injury and then dealt with infections that led to more surgeries. It's possible the Redskins could draft a quarterback. They'll also certainly explore their options in free agency.
