Rams defensive lineman Aaron Donald was named the NFL’s defensive player of the year Saturday night. (ProFootballTalk)
Fantasy Impact:
It’s the second-straight year as DPOY for Donald, just the third player to accomplish that in NFL history. Former Giants linebacker Lawrence Taylor won the award back-to-back in 1981-82, and Texans defensive end J.J. Watt did it in 2014-15. Donald finished 2018 with 20.5 sacks, the most in the league and the most by an interior lineman in NFL history.
