Robert Alford signs three-year deal with Cardinals

The Cardinals signed cornerback Robert Alford to a three-year deal Thursday. According to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport, the deal has a base salary of $22.5 million and is worth a maximum of $24 million. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter )

Fantasy Impact:

The deal comes just two days after Alford was released by the Falcons, saving the team $7.9 million in cap space. Alford started 76 games in six seasons in Atlanta. He will provide a much needed upgrade across the field from star cornerback Patrick Peterson.
