Nick Foles to enter free agency 'free'

by Anthony Cervino | Wed, Feb 27th 12:43pm EST

ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that the Philadelphia Eagles will not place the franchise tag on QB Nick Foles. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Since Eagles GM Howie Roseman announced that the team would not place the franchise tag on Foles, the Super Bowl LII MVP will enter the 2019 free agency signing period truly "free." With a handful of quarterback-needy teams out there that include the Dolphins, Jaguars and Redskins, Foles' services will be in high demand. Foles has already been linked to the Jaguars, who recently hired John DeFilippo as their offensive coordinator. DeFilippo was Foles' QB coach in Philadelphia during the Eagles' 2017 Super Bowl run.
