Jack Doyle undergoes hip surgery

Jack Doyle has undergone surgery on his hip. He is hoping to return in time for the team's training camp. (Mike Chappell on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Doyle's 2018 season ended prematurely due to a kidney issue, and the hip procedure will keep him out of the team's OTAs. He's reportedly over the kidney issue, so his hip recovery will determine when he's able to get back to action. Assuming he's back for training camp, he should be good to go for the start of the regular season. Overshadowed by fellow TE and teammate Eric Ebron this season, Doyle figures to enter the season as a fringe TE1 and someone that will look to bounce-back in TE-friendly system in Indy. He's currently sitting as the No. 13 TE in our expert consensus rankings.
