Eric Weddle released in shocking move

Weddle hinted at the possibility of a move following Baltimore’s playoff loss to the Chargers, “not sure if things are going to get worked out with Baltimore.” Even so, the move came as a surprise considering how important Weddle has been to the Ravens’ defense. The 34-year-old had been due a $6.5 million base salary for 2019. The six-time Pro Bowler won’t have any trouble finding a new team this offseason.
