Eric Weddle signs with Rams

Pro Bowl safety Eric Weddle was not unemployed for long. Just three days after his release from Baltimore, Weddle has agreed to a deal with the Rams. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter )

NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport reported the deal as a two-year contract with a base salary of $10.5 million and a max value of $12.5 million. The signing comes just days before Lamarcus Joyner will become an unrestricted free agent, a strong indication that he will land elsewhere in free agency.
