Breshad Perriman signing with Bucs in wake of Odell Beckham Jr. trade

by Mike Maher | Tue, Mar 12th 10:54pm EDT

It was reported on Tuesday that wide receiver Breshad Perriman had agreed to re-sign with the Cleveland Browns on a one-year deal. However, with the Browns trading for New York's Odell Beckham Jr. later in the day, the Browns and Perriman have agreed not to follow through on their verbal agreement, according to Adam Schefter. Perriman will instead be signing a deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Tampa Bay still has wide receivers Mike Evans and Chris Godwin as they work on their new-look offense under head coach Bruce Arians, but they no longer have DeSean Jackson, who was recently traded to the Philadephia Eagles. Perriman will presumably have a shot at claiming the No. 3 wide receiver position with the Bucs.
