Dan Graziano of ESPN reports the Giants will pay Eli Manning his $5 million roster bonus on Friday. (ESPN)

It means Manning will still be with the Giants next season, likely as their starting quarterback. Even worse, Graziano reports New York might not even take a quarterback in the first round of the upcoming draft despite having two selections (picks 6 and 17). The Giants could have saved $17 million in cap space by cutting Eli. Instead, they remain directionless.
