Golden Tate headed to Giants on four-year contract

by Brendan Tuma | Thu, Mar 14th 4:49pm EDT

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports the Giants are signing Golden Tate to a four-year, $37.5 million contract. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Schefter adds the deal includes $23 million guaranteed. Tate had been linked to the Patriots recently but it's unlikely New England would've offered this big of a commitment. The 30-year-old will slide in alongside Sterling Shepard, Evan Engram, and Saquon Barkley as pass catchers in a post-Odell Beckham world for the Giants. It also looks like New York is sticking with Eli Manning at quarterback, which will likely cap the entire offense's fantasy upside.
