by Anthony Cervino | Steelers Correspondent | Tue, Apr 16th 6:50am EDT

ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that the Seattle Seahawks and QB Russell Wilson have agreed to terms on a four-year deal worth $140 million that includes a $65 million signing bonus late Monday night. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Just ahead of Wilson's implied deadline, the Seahawks awarded their star quarterback with a lucrative four-year extension that will make him the NFL's highest-paid player. With his new deal, Wilson is tied to the Seahawks until 2023. While there were trade rumors looming to send Wilson packing, the Seahawks proved that they are committed to their quarterback, who has led Seattle to a pair of Super Bowls earlier in his carer, winning one. Included in the deal is $107 million in guaranteed money as well as a no-trade clause. With all things being considered, Wilson is due $157 million over the course of the next five years.
