Marshawn Lynch to retire

Former Bills, Seahawks, and Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch does not plan to play football again, per Adam Schefter. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Lynch is calling it quits after spending his final two seasons with his hometown Raiders. The five time Pro-Bowler and Super Bowl champ racked up 10,379 rushing yards and 84 rushing TDs in 11 NFL seasons, playing for the Bills, Seahawks, and Raiders. He leaves a legacy as a tough, hard-nosed runner and a true blue-collar back. His “Beast Mode” persona on the field epitomized Seattle’s “Legion of Boom” era in his five years with the franchise. Lynch should get serious consideration when he’s eligible to be enshrined in Canton.
