Ben Roethlisberger signs two-year extension

by Mike Tagliere | Wed, Apr 24th 10:50am EDT

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Steelers and Ben Roethlisberger have agreed to a two-year contract extension to keep him with the team through 2021. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

This is a bit different than the last two offseasons where we heard rumors about Roethlisberger hanging up the cleats and possibly retiring. After drafting Mason Rudolph last year, it was unlikely the Steelers were going to take another quarterback in this draft regardless. If anything, this is great news for JuJu Smith-Schuster, James Washington, and Vance McDonald, as they'll have a few more dynasty years with Roethlisberger.
