Ezekiel Elliott handcuffed at Vegas music festival

by Mike Maher | Patriots Correspondent | Mon, May 20th 1:07pm EDT

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott was handcuffed at the EDC music festival in Las Vegas over the weekend after he shoved a security guard to the ground in a video shared by TMZ Sports. He was reportedly not formally charged with a crime or arrested but was temporarily detained. (TMZ.com)

Fantasy Impact:

The fact that Elliott was not formally charged with a crime or even officially arrested is a good sign for him, the Cowboys, and fantasy owners, but it does not mean that he is out of the woods just yet. As as happened in the past, the NFL and commissioner Roger Goodell reserve the right to impose punishment in the form of fines or suspensions if they deem that the actions taken by the player violates their own personal conduct policies. Elliott has already been suspended by the NFL in the past, and the video of him shoving the security guard will certainly be taken into account by the league office.
