This will become more of a story if Clowney remains unsigned approaching the start of the season. This happens every year with players, and Clowney appears ready to sit out through minicamps at least. His talent earned him the franchise tag, but his injury history has the Texans hesitant to give him a lot of guaranteed money over several years. It will be interesting to see how this plays out as the regular season approaches.
