Jones set a lofty goal for the 2019-20 season when asked about expectations for the coming campaign. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
He told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, "I’m not a prediction-type guy, but I might mess around and go three (thousand)." Jones went on to say that he has taken incredible care of his body and is in excellent shape physically and mentally. Calvin Johnson's 1,964 yards in 2012 still stands as the single-season receiving record, but Jones' 1,871 yards in 2015 ranks second. Coming off five straight 1,400-yard seasons, it wouldn't be a surprise to see Jones set a new single-season receiving record, though his three thousand yard goal is obviously hyperbolic.
