While Shepard is good to go for drills, he is only allowed to participate using his healthy hand, which is still a risk in case he uses his injured hand to brace a potential fall, Raanan cited. The longtime beat reporter also questions why the Giants are willing to take this "unnecessary risk" in July. It makes sense. It is going to be a long year in New York, but Shepard could be in line for a break out year loaded with targets if he can remain on the field.
