Fantasy Impact:

McKinnon’s knee has reportedly not felt right over the last couple of days since his activation from the PUP list. The 49ers will take precautions and shut him down from practice, but if his recovery does not go according to plan, he will have to go on IR to open the season, meaning he will miss games. Even if he is ready to go Week 1, this setback is concerning after McKinnon was just cleared to practice following an 11-month lay-off from football due to a torn ACL suffered last offseason. Tevin Coleman was the favorite for the starting job in San Francisco already, but his value should continue to rise while McKinnon deals with this lingering knee issue.
