David Montgomery impressive in first game with Bears

Montgomery rushed three times for 16 yards and a TD, adding three receptions for 30 yards in the Bears' 23-13 loss to the Panthers in Thursday's preseason opener.
Fantasy Impact:
The third-round pick looked every bit the part of a starter, going for 46 total yards and a score. With Jordan Howard now in Philly, Montgomery figures to be the lead back on early downs this season in Chicago. A strong preseason could cement that role.
