Jalen Hurd catches two touchdowns in preseason opener

Jalen Hurd was targeted five times in the 49ers' preseason opener and caught three balls for 31 yards and two touchdowns.
Fantasy Impact:
The rookie wide receiver flashed his upside in an eye-opening first game. With Kyle Shanahan non-commital to Dante Pettis as a starter and Trent Taylor going down with an injury, the doors are open for the former running back to see plenty of opportunity in various roles in the offense. The 49ers have not had a big-bodied wide receiver in many years and with George Kittle occupying defenses, Hurd could become a redzone threat for a 49ers team with high hopes.
