Seahawks beat writer Joe Fann believes RB Chris Carson will emerge as the clear RB1 for 2019. "I anticipate Carson taking at least two-thirds of the workload, but Penny will still get a few series a game," Fann said via Seahawks mailbag question. "Brian Schottenheimer’s plan to utilize running backs more in the passing game will also help bump Penny’s usage a bit." (NBC Sports)
While Carson and Rashaad Penny will be a 1-2 punch, it appears that the former will command the bulk of the workload with the latter taking on the leftovers. However, since Seattle will once again lead their offense on the ground, there should be enough opportunity for both backs to return fantasy value on a weekly basis.
