Ty Montgomery carried seven times for 36 yards and a touchdown in the Jets' preseason win over the Falcons.
Fantasy Impact:
Montgomery was active early in this contest, likely reaffirming that he is the clear #2 back behind Le'Veon Bell. What's interesting is that he was not used at all in the passing game, which is his best strength. Montgomery is a nice upside player late in drafts, as he could have a standalone role, and he should be in line for heave work if Bell misses time for any reason.
