Marcus Mariota plays one quarter in preseason loss

Marcus Mariota completed six of nine pass attempts for 63 yards while throwing an 11-yard touchdown pass to Delanie Walker during Saturday's 22-17 loss to the Patriots. He also had a successful two-point conversion with a two-yard run.
Fantasy Impact:
This is an important season for Mariota who after four seasons and 55 NFL starts has not shown that he is an NFL franchise QB. With a strong coaching staff and some good weapons around him, this could be the year he puts it together and fantasy owners should be grabbing him in deeper leagues.
