Alexander Mattison rushed 10 times for 41 yards and caught one of two targets for four yards in the Vikings’ win over the Seahawks on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact:
The third-rounder from Boise State continued his solid preseason play by totaling 45 yards from scrimmage. Mattison is likely Dalvin Cook’s top backup this season, and he makes a quality late-round flyer in redraft leagues given Cook’s extensive injury history in just two years in the NFL. Mike Boone has had an impressive preseason too, and the two may jockey for position behind Cook in a closer race than previously anticipated.
