The Miami Herald's Armando Salguero is reporting that coach Brian Flores has said that Ryan Fitzpatrick is not a lock to begin the regular season as the starter at QB for Miami. (Armando Salguero on Twitter)

Fitzpatrick is the favorite to begin the season as the QB1 in Miami, but it would hardly be surprising if Josh Rosen overtakes him at some point. Fitzpatrick has struggled to play consistently for long stretches throughout his career.
