Todd Gurley is showing to be healthy and ready to go for week one. The Rams want to monitor Gurley and make sure that his health does not deteriorate later into the season. As a result, the team is likely to manage his workload throughout 2019. (Vincent Bonsignore on Twitter)

Gurley still remains a player that carries a lot of risk and this report further confirms that. Before drafting him, understand that the Rams fully intend to monitor his touches and snap count, "especially through the first part of the season." Gurley still has tremendous fantasy value if he can avoid missing games. Even a 40-percent reduction from last year would give your team 205 fantasy points in a half-point league, which was good for RB12 last year. If you are going to risk rostering Gurley, this also means Malcolm Brown is a handcuff to secure in the back of the draft.
