Sam Darnold on point in preseason loss

Sam Darnold completed 9-of-13 pass attempts for 97 yards and a touchdown in the Jets' preseason loss to the Saints.
Fantasy Impact:
In what will likely be Darnold's final preseason action, he played as well as one could hope. Darnold was playing at a very high level at the end of last year and looks to be picking up right where he left off. Darnold has plenty of time to grow into a great quarterback. However, due to the state of the Jets' offense, Darnold is no more than a mid-late QB2 for 2019. He's a great second quarterback that will be a nice value late in Superflex formats.
