Devin Funchess struggled with a back spasm according to coach Frank Reich on Tuesday. The Colts are going to ease him back into practice, but his status for Week 1 is uncertain. (Kevin Hickey of Colts Wire)
Fantasy Impact:
If Funchess is to miss any time, this makes Eric Ebron and Jack Doyle look far more attractive in a fantasy lineup. Passing routes over the middle were a staple of the Colts offense last year, and without Funchess' big body to create mismatches against the defense, the two tight ends stand to gain those missing targets.
