Jordan Matthews to be released by the 49ers

Fantasy Impact:
With an overall young, inexperienced group of receivers and slot WR Trent Taylor banged up, Matthews being released is a mild surprise. Still, Matthews hasn't been a viable fantasy commodity since the 2016 season. Last year, the WR appeared in 14 games (three starts) for the Eagles, compiling a 20-300-2 stat line.
