Carlos Hyde traded to the Texans

In exchange for the Texans guard Martinas Rankin, Houston adds a feature piece to their ailing backfield. Hyde was on the roster bubble in Kansas City, and the Chiefs were able to capitalize on his value prior to a likely release. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Hyde isn't a pass catcher, which is why he didn't fit the Andy Reid scheme in Kansas City, but he showed in the preseason that he can still be productive on the ground. He should be the first and second down RB in Houston, with Duke Johnson taking the majority of the passing downs work.
