At this point, it remains unclear why Olsen is not participating in practice. What we do know is that Olsen has a long list of injuries for his career. Olsen's status will likely be updated later today once the media has a moment to ask head coach Ron Rivera questions. Nevertheless, if you were relying on Olsen for a Week 1 start, maybe identify a few flyers on the waiver-wire until the official word is delivered on Olsen's status.
