Fantasy Impact:
Guice was already scheduled to get more carries than fellow running back Adrian Peterson. With Guice being listed first on the depth chart, it gives further reassurance to fantasy owners who think Guice could breakout this year. Guice's fantasy production remains a mystery, what we do know is that Peterson and Chris Thompson will also factor into the running back rotation. It is also important to track who the goal line back is, as that could be the fantasy difference between Peterson and Guice over the 2019 season. For those who have Peterson on their roster, this announcement does not change much for his fantasy implications.
