Devin Singletary will play as backup for now

Fantasy Impact:

We knew this was likely coming for Singletary but this should not be reason to drop or get rid of him. Fantasy managers need to understand that Singletary should be viewed as a player who will get better as the season carries on, perhaps sooner than later. The starting back, Frank Gore, is a 36-year old journeyman who does not provide much of a future for the Bills, which is why Singletary will get his chance to shine. You also need to understand that T.J. Yeldon will be getting touches from the backfield and that Josh Allen will take away red-zone opportunities, no matter who the running back is. Singletary is a terrific stash who may provide immediate flex value and also has RB2 upside. Somehow Singletary is available in 40-percent of ESPN leagues.
