Jordan Howard included in failed trade offer for Melvin Gordon

Jordan Howard was offered in a trade to the Los Angeles Chargers that would have sent Melvin Gordon to Philly with a swap of mid-round picks, Albert Breer reports. (Albert Breer on Twitter)

Los Angeles rejected the deal. The Chargers are reportedly seeking at least one first-round pick in any trade for Gordon, but the market is apparently very dry right now. The Chargers RB is in a contract year and seeking big money, making it difficult to get a deal done, especially considering the lofty asking price. This is the only confirmed trade package that has been offered for Gordon, and he’ll continue to hold out until further notice.
