The Cowboys and quarterback Dak Prescott are not expected to agree to a new contract prior to their Week 1 matchup against the New York Giants, but Prescott remains unconcerned due to various insurance policies and endorsement deals that are valued at over $50 million, according to a report from NFL insider Adam Schefter. Fantasy Impact:

The Cowboys and Prescott have reportedly been working on a new contract for several weeks that will make him one of the highest-paid quarterbacks in the league, and most insiders expect a deal to get done. The Cowboys have already signed running back Ezekiel Elliott, defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence, linebacker Jaylon Smith, and right tackle La'el Collins over the last couple of months, and it sounds like Prescott's deal is coming next. He is not expected to sit out of any games while he waits for a new deal, so fantasy owners can continue to roll him out in their lineups.
