Miles Sanders not starting Sunday but will have a role

Eagles rookie running back Miles Sanders is reportedly not starting in the team's Week 1 matchup against Washington but is expected to have a role as part of a running back committee. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

After a strong training camp and preseason, many expect Sanders to take over as the starting running back in Philadelphia at some point this season. Eagles head coach Doug Pederson likes to run a committee at the running back position rather than utilizing a bell cow back, so the "starter" designation doesn't always mean a lot in Philadelphia. While Sanders is not starting, look for him to rotate into the game and see touches, though the flow of the game will dictate just how many touches he receives.
