Ian Thomas saw just four Week 1 snaps and failed to haul in his only target.
Fantasy Impact:
Ian Thomas gets some love as the Panthers tight end of the future, however his Week 1 workload suggests that Greg Olsen (94 percent of the snaps) is still viewed as an everydown tight end. Thomas is merely a tight end 'handcuff' who should not be relied upon for any sort of consistent production without an injury befalling Olsen. He flashed at times last season but is not a standalone redraft option.
