Panthers QB Cam Newton completed 25-of-51 passes for 324 yards, zero touchdowns and zero interceptions in Thursday night's Week 2 loss to Tampa Bay.
Newton also carried the ball two times for zero yards. Although he threw for 324 yards, Newton did not play well. He lost a fumble, completed fewer than 50 percent of his passes and finished with a 24.3 QBR. He seemed to miss more targets than he completed. Newton will look to get on track in Week 3 against the Cardinals.
