Aaron Rodgers takes backseat to run game

by Zachary Hanshew | Packers Correspondent | Sun, Sep 22nd 11:09pm EDT

Aaron Rodgers completed 17 of 29 pass attempts for 235 yards, one TD, and no INTs, adding one carry for a loss of one yard in the Packers’ 27-16 win over the Broncos on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact:

Rodgers hasn’t put up the gaudy numbers fantasy owners anticipated when they drafted him as a top-3 quarterback. The Packers’ defense and run game has been better than advertised, leaving Rodgers to play much less hero ball. He’s still a strong weekly play, but his upside is certainly limited.
