Adam Schefter of ESPN reports Saquon Barkley (ankle) is now expected to miss 4-8 weeks after an MRI confirmed he has a high-ankle sprain. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
Schefter adds that the longer timeline is considered more likely. The Giants have a bye in Week 11, which would give Barkley eight weeks to recover if he returned in Week 12 for the final six games. Wayne Gallman is going to be a priority add off the waiver wire this week.
