David Montgomery rushed 13 times for 67 yards, adding three receptions for 14 yards in the Bears’ 31-15 win over the Redskins on Monday.
Fantasy Impact:
Montgomery comfortably led the backfield in touches Monday, racking up a healthy 71 yards on 16 touches. His involvement in the passing game was even more encouraging, as he finished with more receptions than pass-catching specialist Tarik Cohen. After a Week 1 dud, Montgomery has begun to assert himself as the clear lead back in this offense.
